6:30 am: Morning yoga with Jessie & Lee

Your yoga retreats in Bali hosts are Jessie Chapman and Lee Purdie. Jessie has been teaching yoga for 27 years and offering Radiance Yoga Retreats in Bali since 2002 along with online Yoga classes in Byron Bay, Thailand, New Zealand and Europe. Author of 4 Yoga Books and creator of the Radiance Yoga DVD Series, Jessie loves sharing the transformational yoga practice and powerful retreat journeys; creating space for people to deepen in yoga and to be inspired in beautiful natural surrounds. During the yoga retreats in Bali Jessie is joined by Lee Purdie, experienced Radiance Retreat facilitator and yoga assistant, who along with Jessie, offers an abundance of yoga adjustments and guidance.

Yoga, Restoration and Stillness

Jessie’s morning Radiance yoga classes are a nourishing blend of joint limbering, relaxed full breathing, gentle flowing sequences and holding in postures to cultivate flexibility, strength, core stability, balance and awareness. Classes offer variations of the yoga postures to suit different energy levels and physical conditions, with a focus on developing correct alignment. Yoga props are often used, and lots of one-on-one support and adjustments are given by Jessie and the experienced Radiance Retreats facilitators.

In the afternoons, Jessie’s yoga classes shift into deeply restorative practices that help to rest the body’s systems, rebuild energy levels, and support recovery from exhaustion and fatigue. She shares the powerful healing benefits of restorative yoga, cultivating relaxed breathing, a quiet mind, and a deep sense of connection.

Our yoga retreats in Bali offer more than daily yoga practice — they are complete wellness retreats in Bali, designed to rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit. Other classes include evening yoga nidra, meditation, a guided yogadance class with Lee, an ancient sound healing journey, along with scenic guided walks, some incorporating periods of silent walking to deepen stillness and connection with the beautiful surrounds.

Arrival and Departure | Yoga Retreats in Bali

Our driver provides easy airport and hotel transfers, picking guests up from Bali’s International Airport (DPS) or from hotels in the Seminyak or Ubud areas, for a smooth and relaxing start to your retreat journey.

Arrival Day: Room check-in is from 2 pm, but guests are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy the pool, café, spa, and other facilities. Our first yoga class and welcome circle is at 4 pm, followed by a delicious welcome dinner at 7 pm and an evening Yoga Nidra session to help you fully settle in.

Departure Day: On our final morning, yoga finishes at 9 am, followed by a farewell breakfast. Official room check-out is at 12 pm, but guests are welcome to leave bags at reception and continue to enjoy the hotel facilities. Since many flights depart Bali later in the evening, late check-out can often be arranged — just let us know if you would like us to organize this for you. Group airport transfers on departure day are included as part of your yoga retreat in Bali experience.

Extra Nights’ Accommodation: Many guests choose to arrive a day early or stay a little longer to fully relax and adjust to Bali’s tropical rhythm. Please let us know if you would like to book additional nights before or after the retreat.

Upon registration, you’ll receive a welcome letter with full retreat details and ‘getting there’ information to help you prepare for your journey.

You’ll also enjoy free time to explore Bali’s natural beauty and cultural sites, ensuring a fully immersive wellness experience.

No prior yoga experience is required. Our Yoga Retreats in Bali cater to all levels—from beginners to advanced practitioners. Classes are personalised to meet individual needs, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone to grow in their practice.

Our Bali Yoga Spa Restore Wellness Retreats include luxurious spa treatments at 5 star spa’s such as massages, facials, and body scrubs. You’ll also experience spa garden sessions with steam , sauna and plunge pools along with healing therapies to promote relaxation, detoxification, and overall well-being, all designed to restore your body and mind.

The retreat venue is located about an hour’s drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar). The retreat includes private airport transfers to and from the retreat, ensuring a smooth and stress-free arrival. Detailed directions will be provided upon registering.
