Jessie’s Byron Bay yoga classes are suitable for complete beginners to those with a regular yoga practice.
PERSONAL PROGRAMS:
If you’re wanting a private class that you can keep practicing let Jessie design this for you in a recorded class session online. The class is taught and practiced via zoom and the recording is emailed to you for your ongoing practice. This is a wonderful way to focus on any specific postures or areas of your practice that you’d like to develop. This is different than a private class as we work with your ongoing practice in mind, focusing on what you want to develop and achieve in your practice. Contact Jessie for more details.

General Yoga for beginners to those with a regular practice
Restoration Yoga Class – experience yourself deeply relaxed & restored
Core Strength Class – explore Yoga’s abdominal and back strengthening postures
Core & Restore Class – a 1-hour mix of both strengthen and then restoring
Core & Inversion Class – a 1-hour class combining Core and Inversion Practice
Inversion Focus – we work on your Handstand, Forearm Balance, Headstand, etc. with the preparation postures and then working towards the full postures.
Radiance Gentle Flow Vinyasa Yoga – a variety of yoga sequences

People practice yoga for many different reasons. Many come to yoga to improve their physical wellbeing, flexibility and strength, and to help calm and strengthen the mind. Ongoing practice leads to deeper inner stillness, awareness and connection.
ABOUT JESSIE:
Jessie lives in Byron Bay where she offers Radiance Retreats along with Byron Bay yoga classes. Jessie has been teaching yoga for 27 years and offering Radiance Retreats since 2002. “I love to share the transformational power of yoga practice, restoration and stillness and creating space for people to relax, connect within and develop their yoga practice”. Jessie was first introduced to yoga as a teenager practicing Yoga Nidra with her mother and attending Satyananda yoga classes and retreats. “At 21 I remember attending a friends Hatha yoga class, it was a profound and life changing experience. I fell in love with exploring the many and varied yoga postures, the physical sensation of stretching, challenging and awakening my body. My breathing improved and there was an immediate shift in my state of mind. A feeling of calm and inner peace washed over me and I knew that yoga would become a natural part of my life”.
Becoming a fully qualified teacher in 1997, Jessie continues to teach Byron Bay yoga classes and to study under many leading teachers, particularly in the Iyengar yoga method. With a passion for yoga, travel, writing, adventure and nature, in 2002 Jessie ran her first Radiance Yoga Wellness Retreat in Bali. Today Radiance Retreats are held year-round in Australia, Asia, New Zealand and Europe. Jessie is the author of 4 yoga books (HarperCollins Publishers AUS & Ulysses Press USA) and 3 Radiance Yoga DVD’s for at home practice filmed on the beaches around Byron Bay.
