Yoga, Restoration & Stillness
Our wellness retreats in New Zealand are designed to rejuvenate your body, inspire your spirit, and reconnect you with nature. Each day is centered around morning and afternoon yoga sessions combined with awe-inspiring guided hikes.
Jessie’s morning yoga classes combines gentle flowing sequences with breath awareness, along with holding in postures to cultivate strength, flexibility, correct alignment, and awareness. Afternoon classes are restorative yoga to deeply rest, relax, slow the body’s systems, and replenish natural energy levels. Yoga props are often used, and guests receive individual guidance and adjustments from Jessie and Lee. Other retreat classes include evening yoga nidra and pranayama– guided relaxation and breathing before bed to calm the mind, settle the nervous system and promote deep sleep.
Each yoga retreat in New Zealand includes guided hiking adventures with some periods of silent walking — offering time and space for slowing down, natural stillness and connection.
Our Hiking Trails I New Zealand Yoga Retreats
The Wanaka area is full of stunning lakes, National Parks, mountains, rivers and glaciers. Our hiking days – or ‘tramping’ as they say in New Zealand – are about the journey, allowing time to soak in all the beautiful sights and sounds. The trails we take are well trodden and average approximately 7-12 km of varying elevation with some hikes offering options to take a flatter trail or to go higher. Enjoy all our hikes or rest as needed, read in the gardens, have a massage or explore Wanaka town. More yoga retreats in New Zealand, hiking and ‘what to bring’ details are emailed upon registration.
Our Meals
Our New Zealand yoga retreat meals are delicious and abundant vegetarian meals lovingly prepared and served by our passionate local caterer using fresh seasonal produce. Breakfasts are a hearty buffet selection. Lunches are tasty sandwiches and treats to carry in our daypacks for the hiking adventures. Dinners are a delicious and nutritious selection of tasty dishes. Water, teas, coffees and fresh fruits are available throughout the retreat. Special dietary requests can be catered for.




Arrival & Departure I Yoga Retreats in New Zealand
Arrival Day | Yoga Retreat New Zealand
Our group pickup is at 3:00 pm from Queenstown Centre and 3:30 pm at Queenstown Airport. After a scenic one-hour drive, we arrive at the retreat lodge where you can settle in, enjoy refreshments, and take a gentle stroll around the property. In the evening, ease into your journey with a relaxing yoga session, a delicious welcome dinner, and a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra to prepare for a restful sleep.
Departure Day | Wellness Retreats in New Zealand
On our final morning, we start with a shorter yoga session followed by a farewell breakfast. We depart the lodge at 9:30 am for our group transfer back to Queenstown Airport and town centre. If you have a later flight, luggage storage is available at the airport, giving you time to explore Queenstown at your leisure.

Our Yoga Hike Restore Retreats are held just outside the stunning lakeside town of Wanaka on New Zealand’s South Island. We stay at a peaceful lodge located just 15 minutes’ drive from Wanaka.
